Ground Update
On July 27, 2022, at 08:43:24 am (PHT), an earthquake struck the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.0 Mw, with reported dead and 574 were injured. At least 35,257 homes, schools and other buildings were damaged or destroyed, resulting in over US$30.0 million worth of damage.
We immediately dispatched teams to the damaged areas to commence the site inspections entrusted to us.
To date 80% have been inspected and immediate advice and support given to those affected. The Total Claims Specialist reaction teams remain on-site working tirelessly over the weekend to assist our clients and their customers.
